We’ve had lots of fun celebrating Autumn (our hedgehog house has yet to attract any hedgehogs however the children have had fun checking for signs!), Remembrance Day, Bonfire night, Diwali and Christmas.  The children have planted spring bulbs in the garden and we are looking forward to spotting the first shoots.  The early years children made some beautiful Christmas cards and gifts for their families and some of the older children enjoyed a hot chocolate treat on the last day of term.

Renovations

We would like to thank all our children, parents and carers for your assistance in making the recent building renovations (installation of a new toilet/wash room for the childminding children) as safe and smooth transition. The new layout works well and the children have adapted to the new arrangement seamlessly.

What’s next?

We are continually looking at ways to improve our provision and creating an environment which will offer maximum learning opportunities and fun for the children.

We will be focusing on feeding the birds during winter and will be looking out for different types of birds.

We will be keeping a close look out for the bulb shoots appearing which the children planted a few weeks ago.
